Dielectric Grease acts as an environment seal, protecting metal contacts from oxygen, moisture, debris and other contaminants so oxidation and corrosion do not occur. Applying a very thin light coating of the Grease will keep electrical components, such as battery terminals, auto light bulbs, etc from oxidation but does not inhibit the flow of conductivity.
